I set up the online newspaper Bristol24/7 which twice won EDF South West Website of the Year and was commended at the UK Online Media Awards

Bespoke website design, build and management, including ecommerce. Expert in writing for the web, SEO, social media, audio and video content for online and mobile

Where I am now

UWE University of the West of EnglandI specialise in the teaching of online journalism to all levels of UWE’s BJTC-accredited BA Hons Broadcast Journalism degree and the MA Journalism masters degree.

I lead the Level 3 BA modules in Advanced Broadcast Journalism, Journalism Innovations, Final Year Project and Work Experience, and the MA modules Multimedia Journalism 1 and 2, and Investigative Journalism.

In January 2020 I passed the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Professional Practice (PGCAPP) course and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
