Senior lecturer, online journalism, University of the West of England

UWE University of the West of EnglandI specialise in the teaching of online journalism to all levels of UWE’s BJTC-accredited BA Hons Broadcast Journalism degree and the MA Journalism masters degree.

I lead the Level 1 modules in Newsgathering and Civic Journalism, and the Level 3 Work Experience module, as well as managing student work experience across all years.

In January 2020 I passed the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Professional Practice (PGCAPP) course and became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).
